Musa Keder: Ethiopian Youth Innovator in Drone Technology
Musa Keder Ethiopian youth drone technology, a talented young innovator from Ethiopia, has become a notable figure in drone technology and space science. As a student at Addis Ababa University of Science and Technology, Musa’s deep passion for technological advancements, particularly in space science, drives his various projects. Inspired by space science documentaries he watched as a child, Musa has pursued creating drones for a wide array of applications, from everyday use to specialized tasks.
Along with a friend, he is working on developing drones designed for fire-fighting and cleaning glass on high-rise buildings, addressing safety concerns for tasks traditionally dangerous to perform. Their goal is to mass-produce a large-scale drone that can efficiently tackle these challenges.
Musa’s drones are capable of precise deliveries—dropping items at designated locations and returning to their origin, showcasing the versatility and potential of his creations. In recognition of his dedication and excellence, Musa was named the Ethiopian Youth Astronomy Ambassador in 2019.
Looking to the future, Musa is not stopping at drones. He has ambitious plans to create self-driving cars and continue his exploration of other technological innovations, aiming to make even greater contributions in the field of technology.
