The practical training that the Institute was providing to Carter Center-Ethiopia experts was completed.
On August 8, 2024, the Space Science and Geospatial Institute conducted seven consecutive days of GIS technology training for /Carter Center-Ethiopia experts.
At the conclusion of the training program, the Director General of Space Science and Geospatial Institute, Engineer Abdurazaq Humer, mentioned that the institute is providing trainings for experts and leaders at all levels to increase their capacity in the field to use the latest technology in the field to fulfill the assigned responsibility.
Representative of Carter Center-Ethiopia, Mr. Tewodros Seid expressed his satisfaction with the training for Carter Ethiopia professionals to use GIS technology to do effective work and to update their service delivery. Expressing that they are working, they thanked the institute for their great contribution and asked them not to separate the professional support of the institute.
Carter Center-Ethiopia /Carter Center-Ethiopia) experts visited the Entoto Observatory and Research Center and the Space Weather Control Center as part of the training completion program.
