World Cosmonautics Day Ethiopia Commemorated by SSGI and Russian Embassy

The Space Science and Geospatial Institute (SSGI), together with the Russian Embassy, officially commemorated World Cosmonautics Day Ethiopia. The event marked an important milestone in human space exploration.

The annual celebration honors the achievement of Yuri Gagarin, the first human to travel into space. On Miyazya 4, 1953 E.C. (April 12, 1961), he orbited the Earth for 108 minutes. As a result, his mission opened a new era of scientific discovery and space exploration.
